Quarantined? Here are 5 fun activities to do with your dogs

You’re probably getting pretty bored in this quarantine period. Dogs are great for lightening the mood and making happy days even more fun. Just because you’re practicing social distancing that does not mean that you cannot enjoy yourself in the house. Here are a few fun activities to do with your dogs during this quarantine period.



Dog Yoga - Doga


Practicing dog yoga is to never force it. Try incorporating yoga into your daily routine and play time. Not only can yoga reduce stress, but yoga with your dog can be a time of extra quality together. Get your own yoga mat and invite your dog's curiosity to explore the room. If you seem interested in what you do, go ahead and introduce something to yoga.



Make DIY Dog Toys


When your kids come home from school, we're sure they want something fun to do again. Ask them to work on personalization projects and make your own toys to entertain your dogs.

Improving Your Dog Behavior


Do you have a dog that is overly happy, doesn't listen well, or needs to work for potty training? Take this opportunity and extra time together to work with them on these skills.

Learn a New Tricks and Tactics 


Quarantine is the right time to teach your dog new tricks. If your dog is fast in all the basic tricks and tricks, try moving on to other advanced tactics. You can teach your dog to roll over, play dead, or even stand his back legs. If your house is full of training materials, don't take this opportunity for granted. This can be fun for you and your dog and can take all day in the afternoon if you let it! That means that during quarantine people have more time to learn new tricks and tactics!



Have a Dance Party


Everyone loves a good dance party and so get your dog involved. If you have time during work meetings or kids have time between homework assignments, turn on some music, have fun!



Not only do you need a break from all the hard work you have done, but your dog also needs a break from their quiet time. Listening to music and dancing around the living room will help relieve some of your pressure and allow you to muster up energy. The dance party will encourage your dog to jump with you and remind them that they still have your attention during the homework day. Pick a playlist and dance!
