17-Year-Old Girl Develops ‘Virus Destroying Mask’

The world is struggling to fight the COVID-19 global crisis. This has brought about the need for people to develop skills and come up with strategies and devices to prevent further damage by a deadly virus, and a Xl class student in Bardhaman's Bardhaman district came up with a game-changing mask. According to Indian Express, her design has been selected and shortlisted in a national competition as well. This girl named Digantika Bose is studying at Vidyasagar Smriti Vidyamandir Branch 2 in Memari and her invention is 'Air Providing and Virus Destroying The Mask'. It took her seven days to develop the mask and after a series of tests were submitted, the Ministry of Science and Technology took Bose's permission to take her invention to fight the against disease.
